Dave Stevens joins Carrera Cup grid at Bathurst

Dave Stevens will join the Porsche Wilson Security Carrera Cup Australia grid for the final two rounds of the 2018 season at Bathurst and Gold Coast events, running in the Tag Heuer Pro-AM class.

Stevens has a wealth of racing experience, having raced a range of cars in the Australian Nations Cup Championship for many years. Whilst most recently Dave has been racing the Ferrari 458 GT3, with Wall Racing, he is no stranger to racing Porches.

He has raced the last three rounds of the Australian GT Trophy Series in a Ferrari 458 GT3 with Wall Racing. He achieved success by winning a race at Sydney Motorsport and finishing the final round at Winton on the podium.

“Dave has been racing well in the Australian GT Trophy Series and we can’t wait to see him race the Porsche around Bathurst, it will be a great addition to the team to have another Porsche on track”, said Wall Racing Team Manager, David Fyfe.

Dave will race with #50 and his 911 GT3 Cup Car will be backed by long time supporters Brennan IT and Superfluid.

The Porsche Wilson Security Carrera Cup Australia championship hits the track at Bathurst on Thursday for opening practice at 10:45am.
