Walleee’s words on Sandown

Porsche Carrera Cup Australia Round 5 – Sandown

Not our strongest round for the year but by all means not our worst, we didn’t quite get on top of the car early enough and it snow balled into the weekend. We did manage to keep chipping away and get some much needed points.

Unfortunately we were held up in qualifying, we should have been in the front 2 or 3 positions and that really put us behind for the weekend.

We managed to get from 7th in the first race to 4th and then another 4th and 6th in the final race and salvaged points from a qualifying that we got held up in.

By no means was it our worse round for the year and it was good to maintain our points lead after such a strong showing in Malaysia. Now we head to the Bathurst 1000.
