Walleee’s words on Malaysia

Porsche Carrera Cup Australia Round 5 – Malaysia

Just speechless with how our round went. To go there and top every session, get back to back poles and then win both races, which were effectively a points and half type of races being 2 races instead of our normal 3 races across the weekend, it was just amazing.

I haven’t been to Malaysia for 7 years, having raced at the track 4 times previously in 12 hour races. I was hoping my experience at the track was going to be a good thing on our side, that said a number of others had also been there before.

To go there and have such a successful weekend was great for everyone not only our sponsors but also for the team. The moral was very high at the end of the weekend as it deserved to be, everyone has put in a huge amount of work and we are continuing to work hard and put our heads down and hopefully we can have similar results, or maybe not quite the same results as those weekends are very rare but to keep our heads down and if we can continue to get podiums between now and the end of the year that would be incredible. A win or more then that would be bonus on top of what we already have achieved.

A big thank you to everyone at Wall Racing they have put in an incredible amount of work, also to Wilson Security, PAYCE and Shannons without their support we wouldn’t be doing anything and its just great to have a successful weekend and it makes the long journey and the huge amount of work that went into taking our whole team to another country worthwhile, thanks to everyone!
