Hall to Take on 2022 Carrera Cup Championship with Wall Racing

Drew Hall is all set to return to Wall Racing in car No. 86 at the Albert Park Grand Prix Circuit at the Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix where he will be for the first time tackling a full championship season in the Porsche Carrera Cup Australia.

Having previously participated in selected rounds in 2021, Hall will be returning for the complete Porsche Carrera Cup Season set to kick-off at the Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix taking place on the 7th to the 10th of April.

Hall recently completed a number of test days with Wall Racing alongside David Wall and Liam Talbot where he got acquainted with his new 992 cup car in which he will be racing for the 2022 season.

Drew Hall, Porsche Carrera Cup Driver at Wall racing said: “Really happy to be back at Wall Racing again in Carrera Cup Australia with the brand-new stunning 992 cup car.”

“We’ve undertaken test days both at the handover at Eastern Creek and also a 2-day test at Winton where I feel really comfortable within the car and my surroundings, and it’s been great to have David and Liam in the team.  We are feeding off one another and really looking forward to getting to the Grand Prix and see where we pop out.”

“I’ve completed a couple of rounds now in Carrera Cup Australia in 2021 but looking forward to a full championship year this year in car 86 and seeing what we can produce,” he said.
