Drew Hall to make Carrera Cup Debut

As announced by Wall Racing earlier this year, Drew Hall is joining the team for four selected Carrera Cup Australia rounds, the first round being the upcoming round at The Bend Motorsport Park.

Drew has competed in multiple races with Wall Racing over the last couple of years and the goal was always to get to Carrera Cup and that plan has finally come to fruition.

At a recent test day at The Bend Motorsport Park Drew did an excellent job. Completing over 450km at the Tailem Bend test circuit allowed Drew to get to know the car more and, more importantly, the venue ticking off multiple things to get prepared as much as possible for his first Carrera Cup Australia event.

“We are looking forward to having him roll out of the truck with a test day under his belt.  We feel if he can stay out of trouble, learn from every lap, he will have a good result, at the same time as having a great weekend with Craig and myself,” said David Wall, Wall Racing Team Owner.

“His car looks great. If it goes half as good as it looks, I am sure he will have some reasonable results”.

Carrera Cup Australia kicks off at The Bend, next Friday 7 May.
