Double Duties for David Wall at Muscle Car Masters
David Wall and Wall Racing will return to Sydney Motorsport Park for the 2018 Muscle Car Masters.
David Wall will be on double duties over the weekend competing in Historic Touring Cars (NC) in the Bob Jane Monaro and also racing in the Trans Am class in his late fathers #38 Chev Corvette Trans Am.
Unfortunately this year Wall Racing will not be running the Geoghegan Mustang at the event.
“It’s going to be great to get back into my Dad’s Chev Corvette Trans Am, last time I drove the car (which was the first time I drove it) was at Sandown in 2016 when we attempted to win the Des Wall Memorial Trophy, but unfortunately we finished 2nd,” said David Wall
“It’s time to have a go again at our local track, Sydney Motorsport Park. Which is also a track that Dad always said the car was really good at. We have a good base knowledge of what we need there and looking forward to the weekend.”
“The car is an unbelievably fast car and does things that you would love other race cars to do.”
“Hopefully we can be competitive and all goes according to plan and we have a good weekend, either way I’ll have a smile on my face getting around in my Dad’s car.”
Thanks to PAYCE, Wilson Security, Shannons and for making the weekend possible.
The 2018 Muscle Car Masters will be run at Sydney Motorsport Park over the Queen’s Birthday Long Weekend, June 9-10.
