Round 2 GT Trophy Series – Winton Motor Raceway

Richard Gartner was back aboard the Lamborghini Gallardo at Winton Motor Raceway for Round 2 of the GT Trophy series.

Richard did a fantastic job across the weekend, he hadn’t raced at Winton for over 20 years and never driven a fast GT car around the track.

Over the weekend he progressed quickly from the first session to the last race.  Every time Richard was in the car he was quicker and started to achieve what we were looking for from the car.

Richard maximised everything that he had, the track appeared to be more an Audi track then a Lamborghini track, so to come away with a heap of points and progress a long way up the championship ladder after a tough round 1.  He is now very close to 6th position in the championship.

Richard is doing a great job, he was first Lamborghini home and the car is nice and straight so we can concentrate on getting the car ready for Round 3 at Queensland Raceway, which hopefully will be a Lamborghini track and see what we can produce there.
