Shane Smollen joins Wall Racing for Pro-Am

Shane Smollen will join Wall Racing partnering with David Wall for Round 3 of the Australian Carrera Cup Championship for the ProAm event at Phillip Island.

Shane needs no introduction for what he has achieved in Porsches, being one of the front runners in the Elite class for a number of seasons now.

“With Shane’s previous experience in Elite Class it is a massive plus to have him join Wall Racing”, said David Wall.

“We are really happy to have Shane onboard, he is going to be an asset to our team for the weekend and hopefully we can get a great result and gain plenty of championship points”.

Shane has been out of a car this season so far but will join Wall Racing for an upcoming test day at Phillip Island, to get him up to speed and back in the groove. David Wall will also test on the day as it has been a few years since David has raced a Porsche around the Phillip Island circuit.

Round 3 of the Australian Carrera Cup Championship will be held at Phillip Island on 26 – 28 May.
